@legodude122334 sorry to reply to ur old comment but, how does it matter if they are maori words??? all i see when playing the mata nui online game 2 nearly all of the ko matoran have names that are finnish words, here are few examples: pakastaa=freezes, kylma=cold, talvi=winter, arktinen= arctic, lumi= snow, jää=ice, and the list goes on. also le matoran named tuuli= wind and po matorans called kivi=stone, and pekka= extremely common finnish male name. so why they had to change the maori names?

It would have been funny if this guy had someone offscreen to yell OW!
-
@FinndianaJones No, thank goodness

that was one thing I liked about the 2001 sets was that the toa and matoran came with posters. I don't remeber if the turaga had them.

Your Onepu looks blue. Is it your camera?
-
Even when it was spelt "Jaller", the pronounciation was still the same. It said it in the official guide to Bionicle
-
My favorite is Onepu, because he has nice mask.

@FinndianaJones No,they are plastic.
about the name changing, the maku, huki, and jala are words in the maori language. so lego had to change the names. storyline explanation: on naming day, a bionicle holiday, matoran/tohunga who showed courage or bravery would receive the honor of having there name changed of a different spelling. thumbs up so other people can know.
