Thailand's main international airport should be "back to normal" in two days. Anti-government protesters have packed up and left at the end of an eight-day blockade.
STORY:
Hundreds of cleaners have been deployed to clean up Bangkok's international airport after thousands of anti-government protesters led by the People's Alliance for Democracy, or PAD, decided to pull out.
Engineers checked the computers at check-in counters to ensure that the equipment will be ready in time for operations. Everythings due to restart on the Thai kings birthday on December 5.
A Thai Airways domestic flight from the southern island of Phuket will land today. Its the first plane to arrive since PAD protesters overran the $4 billion site on November 25.
The first international flight will land around midnight on Thursday, December 4.
The PAD ended its blockade of Bangkoks two airports today, a day after a court effectively sacked the government. The court dismantled the three parties that made up the ruling coalition and banned their leaders from politics.
