this saddens me.

NAFTA killed small farmers and now American businesses exploit mexican laborers at pitiful wages in horrible conditions. migrants aren't the Zetas (special forces designed to fight drug traders who went rogue). they aren't the MS-13 (which was started in LA). they're victims of a broken system we created; they're the millions who have fallen through the cracks. their sheer multitude shows how broken our policies are. why attack the symptoms instead of the problem?

This man is not logical. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however I believe that one should take great care in forming that opinion. If truly you want to stop illegal immigration, then put all this effort you put into standing on the boarder with binoculars into an immigration reform bill. That is truly how we can solve this issue, by making it fair to both sides of the ticket. Illegal immigrants aren't the enemy, the broken system is.
