Keep Holding On; Part 25 [The Letter]

Ok, so a few people mentioned its confusing so, Im gonna just change their names back to their real ones. Like, Nicks Nick, not Alex. And Mileys Miley, not Taylor. Kay? No confusion? DO NOT ask me again.

With Demi;
Demis POV:
Miley just left and now Im sitting in her room all alone because I have nothing better to do. Im bored, so I stand up and walk around her room, examining it. I have been in here so many times that I could probably locate anything with my eyes closed.
I stopped in front of her desk, opening her drawer; I was met with an inevitable mess. I sighed, shaking my head. There were so many papers, but one of them caught my eye. It seemed to have been crushed and left there.
D: *Picks it up curiously; smoothes it out*
I was surprised to find Dear Nick written messily on top of it. Should I read it? Is it right? Is it invading privacy? I sighed, she was my best friend and we had no secrets from each other, so why not?

Dear Nick;
Hi Nick There are so many things I wanna tell you, but at the same time, I cant. Its ripping me apart that even if youre here right next to me; youre still so far away from my heart. Nick I wanna tell you, that I love you. I wanna beg you to hold me and never let go. I cant comprehend why this all seems so simple, yet so complicated. But if one thing is for sure, it is that you were and are my first love; I will never forget that ever. Tell me Nick, did I ever mean to you as much as you mean to me? Will you remember me for the rest of your life or get married to a gorgeous blonde and live happily ever after, forgetting all about me? Well, either way, it doesnt matter. No matter how many times I tell myself not to think of you, dwell in you, why is it so hard for me to move on? I guess Ill never know And I know Im never gonna give you this, or tell you any of this stuff, but just for the record; you mean so much to me. Nick Jonas; I love you, I do.

A few tear marks covered the piece of paper, as I felt a few of mine dripping down my cheek. I couldnt believe this! Why was Miley doing this to herself?
I wiped my tears and stood up, making a decision, I wasnt going to allow her to keep doing. Nick deserved to know the truth. I took a deep breath, shoving the letter into my pocket.

Back at the restaurant;
M: *Watching him leave*
E Hes acting kinda weird
M: Huh? Oh Yeah
E You Ok, Miles?
M: Yeah, yeah Im fine, Em.
E: Ok *Looks at her suspiciously*

With Nick;
N: *Walks out; walks to a nearby lake*
*Two kids run over playing tag around him*
N: *Smiles*
*The kids run away giggling*
N: *Sighs; sits down on a rock*
