Opening and ending solo to Fade to Black. MP3 backing track, no MIDI. My Behringer LX1200H hooked straight up to line in -- no crappy MIC sounds.

  • I have the lx1200h... what setting are you using? I am using it with a Schecter omen 6 and my sustain is CRAP. no drive at all, even with the gain jacked... the compressor just makes lots of line hum, and sounds plain awful.. I've tried the highest gain on the dang thing!

    Any help would be great.

  • Try this:

    PreAmp: Savage Beast

    Gain: 100%

    Bass: 50%

    Mid: 55%

    Treble: 25%

Push the BANK DOWN and BANK UP buttons together. Then push the "Drive" button (slot B), and make sure the display reads "1". If not, use the Bank Up/Down keys to turn it to 1. Also, while you're here, your Gain knob should be active. Make sure that's turned up as well. Then just click Exit and try it out.

Also mess with different modes (D and E together). I prefer L1 or S3.

Let me know how it works out!

  • Great Job, Reindos - are you in a band ?

  • Nope, no band. I just play a lot and record as much as I can!

  • man you really rock!! and it sounds extremely close to the recording... I mean... Im planning to get that Behringer LX1200H, just the Head... what cab would you recommend to get a great tone out of it???

  • To be honest I haven't had a huge amount of cabs, but I have the (Behringer)BG412V cab and it sounds great to me. Thanks for stopping by. :)

  • very nice job m8!

  • This amp is much better than line 6, I personally think the amp models get much closer, the effects in line 6 podxt pro are a bit better. V-amp pro is more convenient for recording. This amp is good for small venues onstage.

  • does any1 know if the amp hes using is good?

and is it better than line6?

  • Actually, this solved my problem! I turned on the noise gate and adjusted the gain. It's a world of difference! Sounds great. Thanks, man!

  • hi bro great song and you're playing very well:)
