1:28 i think tommy saw her talent (in 1989 in his limo) and wanted to make her look beautiful (even more than she did already) and make her the strongest woman in music, and marry her. but she didn't wanna be his pop doll and do whatever he says so they split and she went on in her way. maybe if she stayed with him she'd continue to be successful all the time but she wouldn't make the music she liked (like this song for example)
