Just a bit of text editing and scenario changing to set up the first event of the mod FFT:Mercenaries, unlike the normal game, this story plays out vastly different pleast check out the Video Response, for some actual views of the new classes and abilites.

I know there's one error in the text which I need to fix, but I made the video without noticing it, my apologies. Also the text might be a little... amateurish, I'm not the best writer... but at least my standard isn't that high, eh? This is FFT for the PSX we're talking about.

  • I don't know what some of those boxes refer to, but I know what you are getting at. My only concern is what happens next. If you are starting at Fort Zeakden you should either remove the text that refers to that battle or (if you weren't already) make a completely different battle.

  • Ah ha! Good idea, I was thinking of what text to remove to fit in the Reed Whistle and a bit of Alma's text, that should about do it.

  • Truly conveys Ramza's memories and emotions, wonderful music and dialogue (I know this is a test but I can tell the end product will be a great story).
