I'd always here this at the airport where we'd wait for my dad to fly in from his weekly trips (1968/69)....music would play over the speakers at the gate. great memories!

Absolutely brillian. I don't think there can be any doubt that this really is one of the best pop songs every written. The lyrics are so evocative--you can feel the loneliness of the character. And the musical arrangement is really superb.
