In October of 2007, Barack Obama said this: "I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank. " (Emphasis mine)

Recently, I traveled with to several banks trying to do just that. Literally.

There is a country that has more nukes than the rest of the world combined, the only country that used nukes, it spends more on killing machines than the rest of the world combined, it has been bombing 50+ countries of the world since 1945, almost every year it has been bombing someone since the last 60 years. Do the citizens of the rest of the world have the right to demand inspection of its nuclear facilities or else bomb the shit out of the country?

The US still has 50,000 soldiers occupying Iraq and 150,000 soldiers occupying Afghanistan. The cost of keeping each soldier occupying Afghanistan is $1 million per year. Do the maths. And btw all that money doesn't go into the soldier's pocket, it goes to military contracting firms that charge $150 for a meal. We the people are paying the bill for that (and the Afghans and Iraqis are paying with their blood).

They got access to most areas and the areas they recieved some resistance they were given access to, as soon as resistance to the UN search was felt the Bush Administration wanted to use force. They werent allowed to use force as the UN gained access and this annoyed the Bush Administration as they wanted the war... which they lied about and got.
