This original track was actually released in 1965 but was written and recorded in 1964 by Edwin Starr who was known as "the nicest man in show business" and it was his first on the famous Ric Tic label, number RT 103, only the 4th single on the label too! Edwin (alias Charles Edwin Hatcher) sadly died of a heart attack aged 61, in Yorkshire, England. Much missed. JOHN

Hey fella, sorry to burst your bubble, but Charlie Hatcher ( Edwin Star) died at his home in Beeston Notts and is resting in the local cemetery . Greatsinger god rest his Soul
