Corgi's first swimming therapy at the hobnobpet.com in Lakewood, CO. Corgis hate swimming due to their short legs. Well, she has to do it, doctors orders. She is now nearly 6 weeks in recovery and as you can see, walking is getting better. Stairs are still another story. She no longer has her ramp. The vert says she needs to start climbing the steps. My poor baby. This is harder on us than her.

  • Thank you for your feedback. Corgi is just fine today after 2 1/2 yrs since her surgery. She is her bossy old self.

  • She had a double FHO surgery due to hip dysplasia. This is now 2 1/2 yrs later and she is as good as new. She was hanging on with dear life in that pool. She hates to swim, still does.

  • Hope she is doing fine and wish her healthy all the days !!

  • @Jessichunk im srry :'(

  • This made me tear. You are a great owner!

  • That is amazing what you do for her. my dog was 16 when he began having a hard time climbing stairs slowly he started dragging one foot and then both back legs and then he couldn't walk he was 18 when he died.

  • Poor thing:( im a sucker 4 dogs [especially for corgis cause they are my favourite breed] and im crying my heart out because of what happened to her:(

  • My corgi actually loves swimming. Take her to a beach or a river and she's in the water. We decided to get her a life jacket after the fact because it doesn't take much current or much of a wave to knock her over, haha.

  • Unchained Melody <3 isn't it? It's a beautiful song. And cute Corgi.

  • The music made me want to just bang my head on a wall... Other than that. AWWWWWWW :)

  • I want that job!!! Would be good therapy for me and the dog. Corgs are my fav breed. I used to have two. Unfortunately one got sick and didn't make it, still have his sister.

Looks like your little girl is doing well, hope she continues to.
