  • BTW, every single company out there that works on any modern programming language owes this guy big time. Not only Java programmers, all languages that run on JVM platform even .net programmers owe this guy and should respect him.

  • @thedeadbaby wow, can u even write one line of code? Java Sucks? lol, no language sucks. The problem is stupid people like you that dunno how to write proper code and when their code doesnt do what they want they blame the language or platform and so on and on. Its my job to deal with people like you, I know your kind very very good. Learn how to program and every language out there will turn to a perfect tool for what its made for.

  • I find it funny how James calls it a "secret API" - I would think a lot of what they write is just an undocumented API. I've used some of Apple's code samples (for TWAIN) before and much of it is undocumented which means there is a lot of guess work involved. Apple employees probably have access to the code that the public can't see. This would make their task a lot easier when it comes to using the "secret APIs" imo.

  • @thedeadbaby It is simply wrong. J2EE is used all over the world in a lot of enterprise applications and Java is currently the most used and appreciated language accorded to the TIOBE indice.
