@BrokenHalf actually the drawing was from when the game was still in initial steps of development and they thought that fire was suited for Marle due to her personality but they changed it later on. Don't dis on Toriyama.

@BrokenHalf From my understandings, despite what many people will try to tell you about it being a Triple Tech. The box-art for the game was finished before the game was even fully developed. Which is to assume that during the process of creating the game Marle was originally supposed to use Fire magic. In the end, they gave her Ice in the final product but the box-art was never edited. Probably time constraints in getting it released on time.
