My first true XC flight and fully narrated too! Wills Wing T2 144 hang glider launched from the Eliminator in Santa Barbara, CA and landed 19 miles away near Lake Casitas in Ojai.

  • @666btl The animation is my actual path in space. Any GPS device which also records altitude will work. The software is SeeYou by Naviter. I capture the images w/ Fraps.

  • @666btl For as many times as I've tried asking, they never seem to respond to my inquiries. ;-)

  • The glider animation at 6:50 is really cool. Are you using real coordinates? What kind of instrument you used to register the coordinates and what software was used to make the animation?

  • Why vultures when in a thermal some of them do not flight in the same direction as the hanggliders does?

  • The WW wheels are small and tend to dig in when landing on soft ground. They also don't work for tying the nose down because they make the glider out of balance when it's level.

    Happy New Year!

  • I see you had the Wills Wing wheels and recently changed (there must be a reason).....thanks again.....We have the same situation with paragliders here.....they are painful....can´t wait for my T2.....take care
