@gartmanxxx I wrote this 5 month ago, I have no idea what I was thinking about, maybe I was to happy I became Israeli. But seriously I'm realizing now I'm Canadian, I love Canada. Because language is important. To be Israeli it means to speak Hebrew to wright and understand. Other ways I'm Israeli blue worker, may be I'm Jewish but not religious anyway Jewish are friends for me some times Russian people or anybody else. But now I understand clearly I'm Canadian. It's hard to become Japanese:-)

@anatoliaxelrod my friend was from america. he wanted to come to canada it took him about 5 years to be a ligal canadian

For me it was less than 5 years to become citizen of Canada, meaning to it what I'm doing now. Second citizenship another 5 years. Now you are citizen where you are citizen or resident where you are resident, not to proof somebody to become, just to be where you want to be. Good Luck!

Good Luck on that question. Immigration or now called the DHS is so overlodaded that they can't see straight. What they need is a total re-construction of the whole process to become a US citizen or a permanent resident. They say one thing on the application and do another thing in person or at the interview. But they have inscreased the immigration application fees so much and still the same services or even less are provided for poor
