Tour of my owner built strawbale home in EMyvale, PEI, Canada. It's a hybrid stickframe infill method bale home with an exterior rainscreen of cedar shingles and stuccoed with clay/lime inside and out.

For the 2011/2012 heating season we used about $150 of electricity to power our air source heat pump and half a cord of hardwood in a small wood stove.
