Really? That's funny. Because I own the Muse HAARP DVD. You know, where they play live at Wembley? Yeah, well, opening song is Knights, and once it breaks down to this part, Matt and Chris both stop playing and just sing. It's keys/synth.

i may be wrong, but my definition of an arpeggio is when you play very fast scales using 3 or more strings

Yeah.. an arpeggio is just the notes of a chord played monophonically instead of polyphonically : "In music, an arpeggio is a broken chord where the notes are played or sung in sequence, one after the other, rather than ringing out simultaneously. " Technically this makes these "broken chords" but the term arpeggio is applied loosely
