It is so evident in this video that Dolly is the super star. Sure Porter was a star and a big one but even he could not hold Dolly back. She emerged as a super star and her talent just took her there.

After reading the disgusting comments by the overt racists and then the sad but pure innocence of the communist "mind murdered" person who spells believe "belive" while complaining about spelling? Sunshine- NASHVILLE NEEDS US!

you tube is a great tool..it helps one remember beautiful memories..but they really need to do something about the profane names.God help me, for i truly do not understand as a Christian woman why He allows ignorance to continue even breathing..such as stupid.the name over the M. Monroe comment by "stupid".while i do not agree with our President, or his policies.i do respect the office he holds..that is a command, not a suggestion..you guys had better find JESUS, before?

This reminds me of my own, dear Daddy, who was a preacher for the Church of Christ when I grew up, and still is, even though he's almost 70. I left the church for many reasons by the time I was 18 or so, but Daddy never, EVER was bad to me or denied me. It makes him sad to this day, but he still loves me and prays for me. I love you so much, Daddy! You are a true Christian!

This song reminds me of my Dad, Victor Jackson, the best preacher, ever! Nothing like a Pentecostal sermon to get you fired up! Daddy has been gone for four years and this song just came to mind to post on FB in honor of him for Father's Day. Thank you so much for sharing this video with us!

I wish my parents were still alive: They would truely enjoy these YouTube Tunes!

@StupidObamaNigger Hmmmm. Ms. Parton was born in 1946 and your old man "dated" her in the 1950s? Guess dear old Dad was a pedophile, eh?
She wrote beautiful songs even then and proved she was no cast member even to Porter. Dolly was, and is a diva in a class by herself wearing a coat of many colors.
