Joe Wilson on Hannity: President Obama - You Lie

Joe Wilson appeared on Hannity on Fox News Channel to discuss his outburst during President Obama's healthcare address to the joint session of Congress. Wilson immediately apologized for his behavior, but defended the substance of his criticism.

The controversy surrounds whether illegal immigrants will receive benefits under HR 3200. President Obama said illegal immigrants will not be covered, but the facts prove otherwise. Congressional Democrats have defeated amendments offered by Republicans that would specifically exclude illegal immigrants from receiving coverage.

The Congressional Research Service has concluded that illegal immigrants will receive benefits under the expansion of Medicaid and are not excluded from receiving benefits due to immigration status.
