I have the Spider IV 75w, I didn't know anyone thought bad of them. I have had some problems with it sounding stuffy I guess its the middle.

@butterfingers308 that made me inspired to play mine more:)

@TheBreddflock10 Yes I am in love with my guitar, but I do want to swap out my pickups someday. They are good pickups, but the neck might be a little muddy in my opinion. I was thinking I might go for the classic Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz combo, or try a DiMarzio D-Sonic. Originally I first thought of active pickups, but until I get more guitars I want to get passive since they are a little more versatile.

@gg5erick Yeah, I don't alternate pick most of it. I found myself messing up more when I did.
You have a nice sound going on!

@MonsterHunter721 Thanks, I don't think Spiders are as bad as people say they are for being a practice amp.

@beanbot12 Thank you for the suggestion, I know I can be a sloppy player at times. I remember watching a Dan Donegan instructional video of this song, and I think my train of thought when making this was, "Well if Dan Donegan is doing all downstrokes that means I have too."
