In 2008 Chris Aichison took a photograph on a visit to Tantallon Castle. In the picture there appeared a strange figure at one of the windows. A year later when Professor Richard Wiseman was running an event called "The Science of Ghosts", an event set up to find the world's most convincing "ghost" photograph, Chris submitted his Tantallon picture and it was voted the winner.
Wiseman and his team set out to investigate the strange image and see if they could recreate it, finally settling upon the idea that the strange manifestaiton was most likely to be a tourist. However debate continued, so 2 years later another group from Edinburgh Skeptics were joined by paranormal investigator Hayley Stevens to have another look at the less well known suggestion- Pareidolia.

Ash, can you add the lengthy links to the description or as clickable comments? Otherwise there might be a buildup of negative psychic energy from people trying to type them in by hand, and this could lead to all sorts of negative manifestations, like your hair turning blond on top, but nowhere else.
