Poppy farmers in Afghanistan are left with no means to feed their families once their poppy crops have been eradicated. There are insufficient alternatives to poppy cultivation in Afghanistan

The International Council on Security and Development (ICOS) is an international policy think tank with offices in Brussels, Kabul, London, Ottawa, Paris, and Rio.

  • thecrowhousedot com obama lies about redistribution the wealth here's this wealth watch the nwo video

  • @jangezkhan So enlighten us.

  • This is completely fucking retarded. It was the Taliban who destroyed the crops in 2001 because it goes against Islamic law. The poppy crops were producing 650% more yield than the pre taliban number as of 2007. The US IS GROWING all of the poppy thats coming out of there right now. These farms should all be killed for supplying the world with these drugs

  • pop quiz; how do you make a terrorist...first you destroy his farm land and then you call him one...way to go J.I. JOE...

  • that looks like good land to build a Walmart.

  • @yunglatino - Not quite - the undislosed location is in Afghan.

  • @yunglatino

thats not true, US imports opium from them.

they also need to realize other countries buy from them too

and need to chillax on world-policing, its not always required.

  • @tjfeen

The problem is, they also need the money to continue using the land.

and the food doesnt sell, if you did any homework at all.

95% of them actually grow food to survive on, and the opium poppy.

and that information i got no more then 5minutes ago from a CBC news clip here on youtube.

i know your post is old but others reading here need to realize how ignorant your comment was.
