  • Very nice advise! I've got two nice old [made in USA] Fiskars utilitys that I used to have professionally done, now they want $10 each! New ones are now $16 & made in China. I'm gong to give this a try.

  • this is a HUGE mistake that people do when sharpening scissors they do what your doing and your trying to actually make the edge sharp when your supposed to be doing the exact opposite your supposed to make both ends flat because scissors don't cut like a knife they split or separate what your trying to cut trust me i do this all the time i know it works! try sliding a nail down both sides
