Private Government - Cradle in Flames

'Cradle in Flames' is written and composed by Philippine-born Cypriot producer Miltiadis Kyvernitis of the Dubai-based studio group Private Government. It is performed by vocalists Reem Raoof, a UK-born Iraqi native and Basel Anabtawi, a Jordanian-born Palestinian.

The song was written in 2006 when Israel began bombing Lebanon, and is dedicated to the people of Cyprus, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq and Armenia, nations that have been through unjustified invasions and wars and still suffer from it to this day. The chorus of this song is the Lebanese National Anthem and Greek National Anthem translated into the English language.

Private Government is a Dubai-based studio group headed by producer/composer/songwriter Miltiadis Kyvernitis. 'Cradle in Flames' features in the soon-releasing debut album 'Diavatirio'.
