That's a great moment, already legendary, but for me the killer moment in that scene is a few minutes later. One of the gangsters tells The Joker he's crazy - his response is absolutely chilling. Superb acting from Heath Ledger; such a simple line ("I'm not. I'm NOT.") but delivered in a way that makes you fearful he's going to reach out of the screen and do something insane.
