why would the captivate camera be any different? i thought it was pretty much the same phone and maybe some minor carrier customizations.

I believe there are quite a few more customizations built into the samsung captivate's camera app (not 100% sure, but features like white balance, auto contrast, etc) were not built into the samsung vibrant's camera. Again, don't quote me on the above features, as I am not 100% sure those were in the vibrant's firmware. Let's just say it has a bit more features built into it

I have been with Android from the start, I got the G1.. I just cant believe how far things have come since the G1.. As of right now there is nothing better then the Galaxy S Vibrant, I love this phone. I am just waiting for the GPS fix. Now they are saying Oct.. For me here in Hawaii, my gps works fine but I still would like to see it lock on more then 3 or 4 birds.. With my G1 I would get at least 8.. But at least the fix is coming so we can relax and enjoy our awesome phones..

just use launcher pro it's the smoothest launcher out there and supports landscape mode properly, has a OSX like dock, the HTC sense's leap feature and whole lot of other features, it's like the Stock Android launcher on steroids.

Oh okay. It might be who knows. I was just asking though. It never stood out to me if it did. I know the vibrant has the best music player customization out of all the galaxy s phones. i also like there puzzle peace for missed notifications. epics is just slide up and slide down for notifications. not bad but puzzle idea was more unique.
