Mr Portelli spends vast amounts of money on cakes. All this sculpture bollocks is just a way to beg for more money to spend on cakes. If you watch when he talks you can see all he's thinking about is eating cakes, you can also hear him drooling slightly when talking.
I think when he bumped up his request to 80k after Duncan's offer, the other 3 Dragon's must have thought, "Spoken like a businessman - we can be certain the guy will make a good business partner."
What did I just watch here, three tasteless arseholes attempt to buy their way into the art world the only way they know how? Ugh. I bet they were pissed off when they realised they wouldn't 'actually' be rubbing shoulders with Tracy Emin or Damien Hirst.
I suppose whenever the fellow puts on a show they've poured money into it gives them something else to do in the evenings besides polishing their golden lavatory seats.
this is from 2008 and pop art is from mid 1950s-60s.
This work is decoration sculpture for expensive living rooms. Decoration is fine and it's well-crafted, but a 50 year old idea as far as "High Art" is concerned. (Seems like he's trying to pass it off as such)
Koonz is a good example of where pop art is today.
This has to be the worst upload on YouTube.

I love Duncan's expression when Peter made the offer to get all the dragons on board.
1: I thought the UK Dragons could only make one offer per show.
2: Duncan and Peter are usually the biggest rivals in investment. Duncan almost looks like he wants to snort, or sneer, but he has the class not to.
