  • @The9226192 That is completely not true. Running any tank without a skimmer is going to require A LOT of water changes and A LOT more maintenance. You really shouldn't give out advice like that.

  • @themostawsomedudever If you have live rock, you probably don't need a skimmer

  • where can i find a protein skimmer cheap for a ten gallon?

  • with this small of a tank you dont need a skimmer. although one always helps. but its not a necessity. and always have plenty of water movement. also get a few other kinds of corals :P some zoas and maybe a few polyps. but looks nice :)

  • yes youll need a skimmer at about the 2 month mark

  • dude i have a ten gallon sw reef tank you can go to my page and check out my idea and do that if you want.

  • as long as you use RO (purified) water and do a 1 gallon water change every week on your 10 gallon you dont really need a filter... just dont overstock and get a powerhead. =)

  • well do i need simmer to my 10 gallon tank ? and please tell me (wrote) the system that i need for 10 gallon pico and please REPLY

  • he means may 11, 2008
