DOG nurses kittens !

Some people found 3 kittens who lost their mother, they asked me to take them, I planned on bottle feeding them, I bought formula and bottles, Then I had an idea, why wouldn't our DOG nurse them, she just had 4 puppies a few days ago and she loves cats ! She took right to nursing them and cleaning them, she didn't act like it was any different than taking care of her puppies. I got pics, then the kitties kept crying after nursing, she wasn't talking to them like a momma kitty would, Then my cat had 6 kittens, so I put the kittens with her and she took right to them as well, they nursed right alongside her kittens. She talks to them like their momma would. They have since quit crying and are living happily with their 6 step sisters and brothers.
