Trials riders hop on board the Vanoise Express

Hop on the roof, that is. While the cable car is moving, 380 metres from the ground. Stunt videoed to promote trials event in France.

Early on the morning of 4th July, nine cameras captured footage of three trials riders hopping on the roof of the Vanoise Express, a double-decker cable car linking the resorts of Paradiski in the French Alps.

Riders Vincent Hermance, Guillaume Dunand de Bozel and Kenny Bealey performed on the cable car for two hours in order to promote the 15th VTT Trial Masters which is taking place in Peisey-Vallandry on August 10th.

Dunand said: "I have never tried something this crazy before. It was amazing having the three of us together up there."

  • Watching 'Jaws' in James Bond has always made me want to climb out on to the roof of a cable car, but I guarantee I'll never do it.

If this video - produced for Paradiski ski resort - encouraged anybody to copy this carefully-controlled stunt riding those who were so encouraged would have to be bonkers risk takers in the first place and therefore any crazy stunt would set them off.

  • NOPE NOPE NOPE.

  • That was the money shot for Kenny Beleay and company.

  • why

  • niezle jeden blad i koniec...

  • moc

  • Fuck. That.

  • Not loving the 'synchronised trials' thing but otherwise it's pretty cool. As promeik said, it may also help enhance nature's natural selection process too - which is always a good thing.

  • This might give alot of people bad Ideas.
