It's funny because it always seem like Hairspray, Legally Blonde and Wicked always have a connection with actors. Guys who play Link seem to end up playing Fiyero and women who play Elle seem to end up playing Glinda

They used Efron for a number of reasons ... He had a deal with New Line Cinema for a certain amount of movies and to put it into effect he had to sign onto atleast two and he did . They figured he already does musicals and we have to follow the contract so sure give it to the kid .

I would've loved to see Aaron in the film but what's done is done .

I don't know why but for some reason, most movie directors shy away from using the broadway stars in their movies, which drives me insane, bc most broadway stars like Aaron Tveit are way more talented and good looking then the actors themself, i mean take Rock Of Ages movie half the cast can't even sing that good their only using them bc of their names which doesn't sit well with me, i'm willing to give them a chance but i would have perfered the Broadway cast for the movie!

No offense to Zac Efron cause i do like him to, but i totally perfered Aaron Tveit in the movie over Zac anyday, espicially when Aaron swings those hips around he is almost has good as Elvis lol!

I truly think Aaron is one of the most talented young actors out there... However he seems a little dazed and insecure but that's primly because this was his broadway debut
