  • You are correct on some aspects, this was the first time this camper was fitted to this truck. We added spacers and what not to accomodate the lift and wide tires. It is possible to scoot jacks over witha dead blow hammer. We do it with everyting from pop-ups to 4000lb. hard side campers. Once a camper is fitted to a truck and load can be doen in 5 to 10 minutes. Thanks for watching and I will demo in another video a realistic loading process soon.

  • Easy to load, once your fitted it does not take this much time. My 60 year old father can do it in 5 minutes and that is giving him the benefit of the doubt. We actually fit the camper to the truck when you pick it up OR a custom truck such as this which needed spacers to clear the tires. Once set up it is easily done over and over.

  • Thanks for the Vid, going to pick up a used camper today, I just had the tie downs and air bags installed on the F250 superduty, I am hoping all goes smooth !

  • @jason1Pa I have a 2001 f150 flare side and I have a 199 Starcraft camper that my uncle gave me the guy he bought it off of had a dually and he made exstension boxes that connect to the camper add about 5 inches then but your jack on I have no problem loading it on you can buy extensions on amazon but they look kinda wobbly when they have a lot of weight

  • What if you have a dually pick up? Would you be able to get the jack stands about 8 ft wide and clear the fenders on the truck?

  • This isn't a realistic (or good) demonstration of how to load a truck camper. At 1:10, a guy on the passenger side pulls the entire camper an inch or so to the right by tugging on the jack (!). This might work with a lighter camper sitting in a garage, but there's no way you could (or want) to do this with the camper sitting on the ground or rough concrete. It takes my wife and I around 15 minutes to load our rig.

  • why not make a docking system?

  • @snowman44077 well i cannot afford diesel fuel and a diesel truck so ill stick to gas thank u

  • Damn, you boys are rough on those jacks! Nice Rig!

  • @chamblizi Bad and worse. That's why diesel helps every towing situation. ;)

  • whats the effect on gas using this
