@TheMegaPaintballer Basically if your suspension is bouncing off of stuff, or kicking try slowing the rebound. If your suspension is packing up and getting all stiff through choppy bumps try speeding it up. The goal is to have the wheels flow over the terrain while keeping the bike as level and silky as possible. Compression dampening makes the bike harder to bottom out. You want to use 90% of the stroke depending on skill to absorb the most stuff. I'm a Motocross guy though.

@MarylandnotSo, yeah, I put up with it for about a year and got another one. I have a WTB Rocket V Team now and like it much better. Gotta get something that you butt will like for sure...

should i put full suspension added on my wahoo?

@TheMegaPaintballer, rebound is how fast your shock springs back to full extension after it has been compressed. (after hitting something on the trail like a rock or when you land after a jump). Most forks and rear shocks have a rebound adjustment and you can change the rebound speed based on the trails and how you ride.

wat is rebound
Great video, simple but effective. I feel like I'm all dialed in for trails - as a newbie. Thank you.

@perfect7liberty, glad you liked the vid. It's really a starting point, everyone can adjust their own shock to the trails that they ride. Knowing the theory behind why we need the shock helps...

i dont think having your rebound fully wound up is a good idea,if your rebound is too fast youll end up being bucked off your bike on bumpy downhills, this guys talking crap

@PICTO07985, these are vids for new riders and for basic trail riding, not for ALL MOUNTAIN or DOWNHILLERS. Most Mtb riders are recreational riders and ride cross country type of trails. The fast rebound setting is to allow the fork to rebound fast enough to absorb the next bump or obstacle. If the fork is already compacted when you hit the next obstacle, the ride will not be as plush, get it moron?
