This is the SAIGA 7,62x39 new rifle i picked up. This is the closest you could get to owning a AK 47 in New Jersey. Known to be one of the best 7,62x39 rifles out today. i would say mostly russian made if not. would like to add a conversion kit, but would have to ask and learn what would be u.s compliance first. Be smart and protect your firearms rights first before doing somthing that might not be within the law. as much as we like having firearms dont do somthing that might jeopardize your freedom.

  • are the guy that got a deer rifle,

  • That is a 10 Round mag AK Style curve to accommodate the 7.62x39mm Soviet Rimmed round. That is the legal mag in NJ.

  • @manny629

real good review on the saiga i know nj law don't allow true aks but what about the ruger mini thirty? it fires the 7.62x39 and uses detachable magazines.

  • Hey manny I live in Jersey too and was looking at the new SGL24. Have you heard if it's decent? Also how is your rifle? Accurate?Fun? Did you ever get a pistol grip for it?

  • Where in NJ did you find a Saiga 7.62x39 ?? Because I cannot find any dealers who sell these in NJ. Any recommendations??

  • They don't have BHO's, you have to do it manually with that tab thats by the trigger guard. I have a saiga in 12 guage, had it converted, the most badass shotgun you can buy.

  • Manny, I'm in NJ. I just converted my Saiga 7.62 and it really isn't that hard. If you have any questions, PM me and I'll assist you the best I can. You're gonna love the rifle.
