Whitney, how did it feel to have someone else painting your face.
Did it seem to take a long time?
I saw they used a paintbrush and sponge and thought maybe
you could share what it felt like for you.
I expect for me it would feel wet, ticklish, & enjoyable.
Do you think that having autism might give you a different experience of feel
then what others might have?
Non of us really likely knows the answer to that
unless we compare notes, I guess, as to how each person perceived the experience.

@turtium It did indeed seem to take a long time, and I was slightly uncomfortable with her being so close to me and having her arm brush against me sometimes.
The painting itself was delightful! The paint was more cream-textured, so it wasn't wet feeling. But as it dried, it made my face feel tighter. I like that feeling if it isn't caused by dry skin. And the brush was ticklish and smooth, not at all scratchy or poky.

I am delighted to get your answer; you are observant and articulate
making your detailed descriptions enjoyable to read.
You addressed my questions with beautiful focus and accuracy
and I find that quite refreshing, thank you Whitney.
Regarding the tugging tight feeling it made when it was drying,
I think I personally would have found that itchy maybe?
and something I would look forward to washing off.
Hmmm, did you keep the "Gems"? What did you do with them? ;)

@turtium
I try my best to answer all questions, I'm glad I'm able to help. :)
I tried to keep the gems that hadn't fallen off by the end of the day, they're probably somewhere in my room now, in a box with other small sparkly things. :)
