@tristancooper1997 i gotch ya. i live mid-coast and catch houndreds of browns a year. spring fall and winter i do best, and not so well in summer less im fishing rivers. when the water is cold they tend to lay in 2-10ft of water on rock sand and mud. shallow waters and reefs that rise out of deep water should produce nice ones, i have caught occasional monsters in deeper water (round 30ft). i have good luck with minimal tackle, just a size 6 hook and a small splitshot 3ft from non snelled hook
