@VisionofOrion thats with baboons they are like that. chimps are very intelligent and because they are wild like a tiger, they will be aggressive... its just baboons are more likely to attack more that many other animals.

I have respect for all animals.
That being said chimps are downright ugly. Just plain ruthless, vicious, beasts. I think its true that you are only allowed to have on in captivity when it is young. After it gets older it gets too violent and too unpredictable.

@Lionshareinc My grandpa owned a monkey for 12 years and he said it was responsible for killing at least 3 dogs LOL. One time he said a german shepard tried to bit it and it grabbed the back legs with both hands and broke them while biting down and bending them one by one while the dog screamed for help. He went to court over that one and won the case. monkeys are no joke

@madams99 First make a search for "bonobo hunt " (I can't put a link here) and you'll see that bonobos hunt too, the same way the chimpanzees do. Than the genus difference between man and chimp is the same than man and bonobo.

Your dog would get destroyed. If you ignored the tree the chimps could climb and they were all in a 'pit', then the best your dog could do would be to bite one chimp and lock its jaw. In the meanwhile the rest would fucking tear it to pieces....you think your pitbull is scary?? Go google a picture of chimp teeth.
