Austin Paranormal Investigations

Katrina is part of the Austin Paranormal Investigations.

The Austin Paranormal Investigations is a group of paranormal investigators that research hauntings in the central Texas area. We also do investigations in private residences.

Paranormal Investigators (called ghost hunters) by laymen use modern equipment and in attempt to collect evidence and proof of the supernatural.

They use different techniques to attempt to record evidence such as tape recorders, cameras, heat sensors, video, etc.

Katrina will do as series of videos discussing different techniques used in paranormal investigation including EVPs or electronic voice phenomena, how to take pictures of ghost, etc.

The two most common picture phenomena are called orbs and ecto (short for ectoplasm).

In parapsychology, ectoplasm (From the Greek ektos, "outside," + plasma, "something formed or molded") is a term coined by Charles Richet to denote a substance or spiritual energy "exteriorized" by physical mediums.Associated with the formation of ghosts, and hypothesized to be an enabling factor in psychokinesis.

I have known Kat for at least 10 years, and know for a fact she is not only professional but well respected in the Paranormal research community. To any of you low life, monkey fisted psychopaths that have nothing better to do then leave juvenile comments on YouTube, why not try to accomplish something in the field and try and do something positive for it, instead of being an armchair quarterback and watching the world go by. Wow, havent read these comments in awhile. Although I try and laugh off the crude comments I would like to say one thing to the creator of this video, psychtruth. Im very happy to see that by you BLATANTLY ignoring my request to only be taped from the shoulders up has gotten you 145k hits. In the meantime however, Ive read comments that make me wonder how many mentally ill, sexual deviants one video can flush out. Truly eye opening.

Thanks Suzie, but not only was it not done intentionally, I was told the video would be shot from the shoulders up. I guess psychtruth cared more about hits than respecting my wishes. If I had done it for that purpose I would have just sat there and talked about what the weather was like that day. The comments about it just make me feel really bad that the story was ignored and the sharing of personal experience was lost...

I can see both sides of the argument, but while this gal IS a professional in her field and is definitely NOT a floozy, it's no accident that she's wearing that top in the video - she knows exactly what she's doing :)
