This fight takes a while.
Commentary:
2:23 - I don't know why Gong suddenly decided to do an extra point of damage here...I was kind of hoping he'd do the 2 to set Khris up. But, oh well, he needs the experience anyways.
2:56 - What was that about? I was checking experience levels before deciding whether or not to kill that knight.
3:25 - I think that's the first time I drop a Blaze 2. Note the expanded hit radius, but also note the extra damage.
5:46 - Enemy archers in general have pretty high attack, but no defense at all. Get close and wail on them.
6:10 - Sometimes I take my healer-kills very seriously
6:47 - Archers cannot attack adjacent squares. So use this to your advantage.
7:48 - Yipes! Close call. Always be mindful of the possibility of double-hits and criticals. And while I'm not going to advocate one strategy over another, I'd like to point out that if I had not used those defense potions on the leader, it would have been a game over.
8:22 - Healing the leader when he's critical like this takes priority over anything except killing the enemy that threatens him.
9:02 - Finally, she finishes this guy off.
I remember my first time fighting that mage. he took out all but tao (who had no magic left) and my leader and I had three more enemies to face. I was planning on retreating when it got to my turn, and had Tao attack the mage. Two hits, one a crit, and it defeated him.
