Sensei Tony Grainger 6th Dan instructing a class self defence at Goxhill Karate Club with club instructor Paul Howson 2nd Dan. Shito Ryu Shukokai Union.www.shukokaigoxhillssu.co.uk
I like how aggressive the techniques are. He never moves away but rather into his opponent. That to me is paramount to effective self defense. Very nice stuff I'm gonna remember these.
Yeha big different between Shito-ryu and others is that the fists are chambered at the solar plexus instead of the belt and the foot placement is different (more close together then spread apart)
@johnm543 I am currently involved in Shitoryu and the movements and techniques are generally softer then Shotokan and that is one of the main things that I love about it.

Great demo. I see some similarities to Goju Ryu which is what I study. Circular movements are big in Okinawan karate. It's the influence of Kung Fu.
