Sorry mate but the energy required to separate the hydrogen atoms from the oxygen atoms is equal to the energy gained from combusting the hydrogen in the fuel cell. The combustion reaction itself is with hydrogen and oxygen so no extra oxygen will be produced, just water.
Its kind of like giving someone a dollar in exchange for a dollar. nothing lost, nothing gained; conservation of energy.
Biofuels are good in principle but there just insn't enough to supply the massive demand of the world.

Water comes out the end not oxygen. once you mix the two together it makes water. The car needs both to run just like in a petrol car the air comes in mixes with the fuel and makes the car go. not all the hydrogen is not all used up then the reminding comes out mixed with the air. So water comes out the end. Also oxygen wont get rid of carbon dioxide. Most of this is done through plants. Also we need to certian amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere or there would be no life on this planet

Let's hope all this takes off. Sounds promising. I am amazed by the way petrol prices have soared, when I left Australia 3 years ago petrol was about 79c/L (around that I think!)

Hey Pauly,
Thanks for watching.
Not too much, by what you'll save...
but right now, I've had nil income (personal) for 12 months, due to the start of the business, so I mean "too expensive right now"... if that makes sense :o)
Cheers
