it's not just fast movements, it's precise movements often done by reacting to a situation within less than 1/10th of a second
I assume you've never played a fighting game, especially one that requires the extremity of hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, and dexterity that smash does...trust me you would get destroyed

Sweet Kung-Fu Flying Jesus. I'd never be able to do that with my thumbs. I wish there was a way to decently play Smash with an arcade stick :< Oh well, I can only dream. Mad respect to these players for reaching that kind of technical prowess.
