OK you didn't need to change the volume settings cause now your to loud & all distorted :(

Yes, it´s possible and you can´t finish the game without it, watch part "ishar 28" .. and there is no icon to use lockpick, so maybe, just maybe it can be done from the keybord, they don´t mention it in the manual, and I don´t think you´ll need it in the game and there is the magic key spell : - )
