Yeah, laser effects aren't special, but come on, what exactly do you expect a laser to be? Carefully designed over weeks? This DLC beats the original SP campaign thus far. Just a shame the Dr. Proton battle was anticlimactic. Should've been final boss, IMO.

This was an incredibly underrated game, it should've gotten more acclaim than Gears 3, seriously, these game reviewers are smelling more of paid opinion by the day.

Don't even have to mention repeatedly that DNF is a pretty bad game. I don't think anyone disagrees with DNF not living up to its hype. Most of the duke fans knew it wasn't going to be great because they were following what duke was going through (repeated wipe, low budget as budget wasn't spent wisely, people leaving 3D Realms, lawsuits, etc) Now with this DLC, made after gearbox & 2K games took the franchise, looks good so far. Duke's got a better future ahead of him.
