Darin and I took a break from Chad's birthday to go Tartantula wrangling. Note size of hole and look at the way the silk lines the entrance to the burrow. Maybe not the safest thing to dig with your hands ungloved...as there can be any number of other occupants in old rodent burrows, like snakes and centipedes. I didn't want to use a shovel burying the tarantula, and flooding is useless because you see how dry and crumbly the soil is in early September. Also remember to put back all the rocks and soil to prevent erosion. which the video doesn't show. If you can't put back the soil then I wouldn't recomend tarantula wranglin'.
