Swervedriver - Sci-Flyer

As todays music (mainstream) gets shittier it only serves to contrast the genius of this band. Not mainstream enough to be "commercial" . A sound no one will ever be able to recreate, they might be employing Tesla Technology in some of their effects pedals. To me, IMHO they will go down in History as one of the most underrated bands ever. I first heard Raise in 92 and have followed them ever since. Im kind of glad they never really got too big. i was afraid they would change their sound.(ie.311)

i was 13 when i first heard this, n got the album, it is immense, i listen to it now n it seems better than back then!! way ahead of their time, my high school at the time had many top bands play like, wedding present, wonder stuff, lemon heads, dodgey, house of love, eat, kingmaker, the misssion, levellers, therapy?. i guess it was a cool school to go for jus for that, swervedriver were spose to come but due n rumours of their drug intake lead them to never play :(

First time I heard Swervedriver was in the spring of '92 opening up for Soundgarden at the concert hall in Toronto (almost positive they opened up with this)... Been one of my favourtite bands since... Unreal sound, as fresh now as it was then...
