  • oh my god robert downey jr was brilliant in this movie which was just fantastic i enjoyed every moment of this film which is very rare since i usualy dont enjoy most films that i see these days. i would give this film 10/10 on the ratings scale.

  • mind blowing !! Great movie, with a few really good messages for all walks of life 5/5 stars .watch it online at MOVIEPRINCESS[.]com

  • i've never read any sherlock holmes books, but this is the best sherlock holmes story of all time.

  • Wierd that whole scene between RDJ and Rachel McAdams(?), wasn't even in the movie. Instead she just drugs him don't remember no crotch kneeing.

  • No it's actually fairly close, read the books. Holmes is extremely vague anyway, there technically is no true Holmes.

  • Not really...I think they're greatly over exaggerating the violence. From the script I've read it plays out lime a typical Holmes story.

In the books there really is quite a bit of chasing, action, etc..

  • I have a general feeling it's sort of in the category of a standard thriller with actions and explosions, difference is only in time setting and characters. Otherwise, it would've seen as just a regular thriller. I hope to see more of Sherlock's detective abilities shown in the future. That's the root of S.Homles

  • This is not Sherlock Holmes, this is just good old RDJ....

  • Jude Law accidentally the babysitter.
