Ladies you did marvelous with this challenging piece.

I am going to do this with my combined women's chorus this coming year '09-'10 My interpretation is different as well. It is definitely great to hear the different interpretations of the same piece. The entire piece can sound different from composer to composer and chorus to chorus. This chorus has a nice blend, some of the sopranos need to be careful, it is not a "pop" sound. Overall, nice tone.

I performed the SATB version with Dr. Clausen when he was my director. This interpretation is nothing like he intended it. No disrespect to the performers but the last third is just different.
I do like the ssaa arrangement though.

To breathy and the worst vowels i have herd on this song yet. the cutoffs were to short. the sopprano ones were WAY louder than lovely, in most spots. eatiful soloist. a little loss of support and you fell back into your throat on the high note but overall very good solo

over all a great sound but i didnt like the choppiness in some parts. my choir did this last year and we made those parts smoother and more legato. but other than that amazing

HUUUUUGE choir (:
The version that my choir did
was SATB, but the all-women choir
sounds simply beautiful singing this.
