  • Hi...what kind of webcam are you using as your video is so clear and not distorted looking like mine...I use a logitech pro 9000 and would like better resolution...I've seen webcams from $10 or so to $1000's of dollars.

  • We use a digital video camera for this series. A good camcorder will generally give you higher quality, greater flexibility & and more control than a webcam. Cheers

  • How do I create ambient light without spending alot of money?

  • Ok, I just watched a video tutorial on how to turn on a lamp.

The next lesson told me using more lamps will create more light.

Can't wait for your next video. Thanks for all the wisdom!

  • This video has crap lighting.. it's way too bright.

  • awesome next time i'm filming a hobo i will be sure to use these techniques

  • I always find lighting is very important to get the best quality video with the least grain! When I am filming I try to always utilise natural light through windows so the video doesn't become very yellow. If that's not possible, halogen lights usually give off a white light.

  • i tried this and it only looked good for pictures not video the video clips were way to dark on my microsoft lifecam cinema

  • ive been trying thi sout

  • Thanks for the great tips Isaac...lighting is soo important and can make or break the video. Most people don't have a big budget to buy professional lights - a Do it Yourself approach works really well for me! - I use a shower cap to diffuse and spread the light on my home made lighting kit, which cost me $15

    Cheers,

    Hani

  • Oh lord that was awful.

  • this is an example of bad, flat lighting

  • you're cute

  • Not sure if you're making fun of his suggestion or not, but regular incandescent bulbs (your everyday lamp bulbs) are the same as 3200K (tungsten) lighting, or indoor lighting. So a household lamp is actually ideal for indoor lighting, as long as you use a 3-point lighting technique properly.
