I TOTALLY understand how people think about their friends and/or boyfriend when they hear this. It's music & it touches everyone differently, but what you people saying, "I don't understand how you can think of Jesus when you hear this..", don't understand is that for us as Christians, Jesus IS our bestfriend, our brother, our father, our husband, our everything and more! So when a song says things like "I'm gazing at eternity" & "..under YOUR stars tonight" we're thinkn of our bestfriend too!

@Mikebtheawsome Sorry for the long response. I wanted to answer your question as best as I could! & as for never having seen anything "good" about being Christian, look a little deeper. Looks can be deceiving! The stories might seem far fetched, and there are A LOT of people who use being a "Christian" to justify the stupid things they say/do but the only way to TRULY KNOW for certain is to pick up a bilbe, pray (before & after you read) for understanding & see first hand what it is all about.

@Mikebtheawsome YOU are IN a Love union WITH that person. . I think people misuse the phrase "in Love" by saying, "Oh, I am IN Love with him but he doesn't Love me back" because that doesn't make any sense because by saying WITH him, you are inffering that that person is also "in" that Love as well. So, yes I am IN LOVE with Jesus and he is in that Love with me and when I finally meet my husband he will share in that Love

@Mikebtheawsome and when I say that he is "my husband" I mean it figuratively. I am "married" to Him meaning I belong to him in more ways than just that one way. My heart with always be his but when I am married I am sharing it with my husband. The same way we call him our "father" meaning Spiritual father, he is my Spiritual husband, Spiritual bestfriend/brother/sister/moth­er/everything! And no it is not adultry because being "in Love" with some one is saying that

@Mikebtheawsome Haha I understand where you're coming from. And MY answer to you is this... for a christian, like for many people who aren't Christian as well, having a husband is more than sexual. So, It's more than just praying for things you want or reading the Bible. It's NOT a religion, it is a Relationship with Him! We talk with him, ask him things, tell him things, confide in him, TRUST him, just as I would with my husband.. (if I were married)

@NemiRose247 not trying to put christians down here but if Jesus is your husband/wife doesnt that mean your cheating on your human husband/wife or would u be cheating on Jesus with the human? i know theres no sex involved with jesus but saying your "in love" with Jesus isnt being "in love" with 2 people isnt that adulty. this question may sound stupid but my parents r christians but ive never seen anything good about being christian. just looking for info.
